A Year in a Paperless Classroom – How We Saved Money Plus 8 Trees!

Well, the year has almost come to an end, and this paperless experiment has been a productive and promising one!  There were hiccups and drawbacks along the way — amongst them, hardware challenges (especially due to bluetooth keyboards), software challenges (most notably, ebooks that were lacking in the quality or usability department), and learning curves for both the students and myself when it comes to the process and procedures of effective paperless learning.

Overall, the year was a success and we learned a lot!  See the results — as well as some surprising facts including cost and environmental impact of going paperless.  Not only did we save 8 trees and lower our carbon footprint by up to 0.62 tons of CO2, but we most likely actually saved money while doing so!
